Event Overview
For National Mental Health Month, ElevateU wanted to host an event to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health. "Don't Ghost Your Mental Health" is a Halloween themed activity intended to bring attention to the amount of college students dealing with mental health conditions and to create awareness for the resources that Ferris offers to support students in these struggles.
Event Brand
I came up with the name, designed the logo, and created the illustrations for "Don't Ghost Your Mental Health" with the goal of making it look and feel Halloween-themed, but also inviting and cheery as well.
The Activity
For this activity, students were given stickers that represented mental health conditions they personally suffer from or those they know and support.

Students can place the sticker onto their hot drink sleeve and carry it around with them on campus to feel empowered, supported, and seen by other Ferris students who also have a sticker.

Students assemble the stickers with the symbols onto their drink sleeve after choosing their own.

The stickers including the event name and ElevateU logo were all pre-assembled ahead of time.

Getting The Word Out
Student Involvement
The Turnout
During the two hours we had the space reserved, we had over 100 students at our booth. Everyone who attended was very involved and had a great time participating in the activity.

Continuing "Don't Ghost Your Mental Health"
ElevateU already has plans to bring back the "Don't Ghost Your Mental Health" event next year since it was such a success and gave great exposure to their brand and initiatives here at Ferris.
